Alpha 0.7.1

Chapter 10 has been completed and provides guidelines on where to add your own code to that generated by the IDE.

The second part of the chapter shows how to implement the code needed to make our HTML editor function.

Chapter 11 has been expanded to cover further points that could be implemented in order make our editor even better. The source code to accompany the chapter incorporates most of these points.

The project now has one translator Jaime working actively to produce a Spanish translation. We have also had an offer from someone wanting to work on a German translation. Anyone else interested on producing native language translations is welcome to contact me at sof_t at users.sourceforge.net .

Alpha 0.6.1

Chapter 9 has been completed and contains information on all the components offered in the GUI designer. It has a large section of Sizers, Toolbars and Menus.

The second part of Chapter 9 continues our HTML editor.

Chapter 11 has been expanded with a new section on Naming Conventions. The 2nd page of the book now lists the version number and release date to make it easier to tell if you have the latest up to date version.

As ever any offers of help, especially in the area of proof reading are very welcome. Even if you don't want to go to the trouble of getting actively involved please report any errors or problems here. Requests for features are always welcome here.

Alpha 0.5.1

With this release the framework of the book has been completed. The whole of the second part of the book will introduce you to the power of the wxDev-C++ form designer. As part of the process we will be building an HTML editing application. Each chapter 7 - 11 will add to this application. Chapter 8 has now been completed with the exception of proof reading. Chapter 9 is now about a quarter of the way to completion. The demo application has been completed and can be accessed from the downloads page under the Bonus section. This section also houses the TangoImages.devpak which will be used to build the application. A tool has also been released the Palette Manipulator. More details on this tool are available at the end of chapter 6. The trouble shooting section has been expanded to keep up with problems found with the latest release of wxDev-C++.

As ever any offers of help, especially in the area of proof reading are very welcome. Even if you don't want to go to the trouble of getting actively involved please report any errors or problems here. Requests for features are always welcome here.
